How to Contact us about a Kitten:

Obtaining a kitten, older kitten or sometimes a retired breeder, is very easy!

For information on any of our current or upcoming litters of Savannahs or Bengals, we can be reached either by phone or email. A word of caution, during severe weather, our phones/computers may be down, sometimes as much as a week! As soon as we can, we will respond to your inquiry. Normally, we respond as soon as possible.

How to obtain a Serrano kitten?

Please contact us and let us know exactly what kind of kitten(s) you are looking for, Bengal or Savannah, and please tell us a little about your lifestyle. Do you work full time, retired, work at home, travel a lot, etc? How many people are in the family, and if children, what ages. Are there any pets in the home already? Who takes care of your pets while on vacation? This helps us a great deal in working with you to select that very special kitten that meets your specific needs and circumstances and helps us to make sure everything goes well. Every family is different and we will try our very best to satisfy your request. For those who are interested in a pair of kittens, Serrano will give a 10% discount on the second kitten. For those who do wish to skip the very young, extremely active kitten stage, older kittens with plenty of comical kitten antics or Retired cats are sometimes available.

Because of the demand for Bengal and Savannah kittens, we do not always have kittens available so if you are interested in a future Serrano kitten, and wish to be placed on our waiting list, send us a note, email or phone us and tell us what you are looking for in a Savannah or Bengal kitten. Please include your email address and/or phone number so we can reach you to discuss your specific request, answer any questions you may have, and possibly place you on our waiting list.

For those of you who are serious about purchasing a kitten(s), we suggest you contact us to be placed on our waiting list. To be placed on the list, send a waiting list deposit to the address below. Waiting list deposits are $200.00 for a pet Bengal and $400.00 for a pet Savannah. Contact us for current prices on a breeder Savannah kitten.

Deposits to hold a kitten are half the sale price. Deposits are completely refundable for whatever reason, up until we (you and I) have mutually agreed on a specific kitten(s), price, and terms of the contract/health guarantee, and any discounts that may apply. This is usually when the kitten is 4 – 9 weeks old, or later for older kittens and Retired Cats. At that time, half the sale price is due. The balance is due when you pick up your kitten or before the kitten leaves Serrano for a health exam and flight. Then the deposit is put towards the purchase price and is no longer refundable. The kitten you want is no longer for sale and reserved just for you. The kitten will stay with us until the appropriate age and then be either picked up by you or shipped to you. We cannot hold your kittens, after purchase, for any extended amount of time. If by chance a pet quality kitten should develop into a show quality kitten, we reserve the right not to sell that kitten. Should that happen, your deposit is refundable or you can wait for another kitten. Your deposit is completely refundable if we cannot deliver a kitten for any reason.

We here at Serrano will try our utmost to meet all your requests. We will contact families on the waiting list first when a litter or specific kitten is available. At that point, photos will be sent to you for your decision and a deadline given for you to either accept or pass on that individual kitten. The deadline is to insure that the next person on the waiting list has time to make a decision. If the person does not decide by the deadline, we will assume that you are not interested.

When asked how long the wait will be for a kitten, we do not know, as we are lucky to place our kittens fairly quickly. We are a small, in-home cattery and believe in quality not quantity.

We do ship from Sacramento International Air Port, during moderate weather, if necessary.
